Illsurrekshun menjadi album mini terakhir yang digarap oleh grup hip hop Homicide, sebelum mereka membubarkan diri pada tahun 2007. Dirilis setahun kemudian pada Mei 2008 dalam format cakram padat, album mini ini menjadi kejutan eksperimentasi hip hop 1990-an khas Homicide. Kini Illsurrekshun bakal dirilis ulang dalam format vinil di bawah kolaborasi label rekaman Grimloc Records dan Elevation Records.

Seperti yang dikutip dari situs resmi Grimloc Records, Vinil ini akan dicetak sebanyak 500 keping dan telah melalui proses mastering ulang oleh Hamzah Kusbiyanto. Vinil ini pun disertai dengan artwork album terbaru dan dilengkapi lirik. Selain kedua hal tersebut, vinil ini didampingi poster berukuran A2, emblem kanvas dan booklet 20 halaman berisikan arsip foto dan catatan pinggir dari Aminudin TH Siregar, Fami Redwan dan Chandra Drew.

Penjualan dari vinil Illsurrekshun bakal dibagi di tiga lokasi, Grieve dan Grimloc akan menjual offline di markas mereka di Jakarta dan Bandung. Sementara itu, penjualan online akan dilakukan oleh Elevation melalui situs mereka. Penjualan akan dimulai Sabtu (5/3) mendatang. Vinil Illsurrekshun sendiri dihargai senilai Rp350.000,-.

Sebelumnya Homicide sempat merilis ulang album mini Godzkilla Necronometry (2002) dan Barisan Nisan (2005) dalam format vinil dan kaset. Illsurrekshun menjadi album ke-tiga yang dirilis ulang di bawah kolaborasi Grimloc Records dan Elevation Records.
