Di lanskap musik nasional, banyak bermunculan band-band muda berpotensial. Salah satu nama-nama segar yang tengah jadi sorotan skena adalah Kaveh Kanes. Grup indie pop itu baru saja meluncurkan video klip untuk single berjudul “The Fountain”. Lagu catchy ini sudah bisa ditonton langsung melalui kanal resmi mereka via YouTube.

Klip “The Fountain” merupakan single perdana Kaveh Kanes di album teranyar Loanwords, yang rilis pada 25 September lalu via Anoa Records. Video ini dieksekusi langsung oleh Zaviero selaku sutradara. Uniknya, video klip bernuansa “aesthetic” itu secara apik menampilkan tema cinta klise, berupa romansa khas kawula muda.

Video “The Fountain” seolah mengajak para pendengar menikmati manis getir romansa yang ditunjukkan lewat sekelebat gambar bergerak. Benang merah video terletak pada kisah tiga sahabat, yang digambarkan memiliki ikatan spesial di antara ketiganya, beserta konflik-konflik yang mereka hadapi.

Kaveh Kanes terbentuk sejak 2011, mereka berpersonelkan trio Asad Gibran (vokal), Zaimmuddin Mukarrom (gitar), dan Muchammad Najib (drum).
