Dua veteran musik, Iggy Pop dan Underworld belum lama ini merilis lagu hasil kolaborasi. Lagu ini adalah kali kedua Iggy berkolaborasi dengan musisi elektronik dalam tempo dua tahun terakhir.

Iggy dan Underworld merilis “Bells & Circles”, nomor elektronik berisi spoken word parau tentang bagaimana nikmatnya merokok di dalam pesawat. Monolog parau Iggy diimbangi dengan vokal menggema dari efek sound processing dan breakbeat gelap khas Underworld.

Dilansir dari Consequence of Sound, lagu tersebut direkam setelah keduanya “bertemu di sesi minum teh sore hari.” Iggy dan Underworld sebelumnya pernah berada di satu album, yaitu soundtrack film Trainspotting (1994). Masing-masing menyumbang nomor klasik “Nightclubbing” dan “Born Slippy.”

“Bells & Circles” adalah nomor elektronik kedua Iggy sebagai kolaborator dalam dua tahun terakhir. Sebelumnya, ia menyumbang vokal untuk soundtrack film Good Time (2017), yang dibintangi Robert Pattinson dan dibesut oleh Benny serta Josh Safdie.
